TWHSA's DQP's are
provided by association
with the
Horse Protection
Commission
A USDA Certified Horse
Industry Organization
The Horse Protection
Commission was created
by licensed
veterinarians, and
certified by the USDA in
December 1997, for the
purpose of working in a
cooperative spirit with
the USDA in enforcing
the federal law, the
Horse Protection Act. It
is the desire of this
professional inspection
program to raise the
standards of the federal
inspections on a
national level. We are
an inspection program
that inspects all
breeds.
The HPC is the only USDA
certified Horse Industry
Organization (HIO)
completely governed by
licensed veterinarians.
